Fighting Adware

AdWare is a category of malicious software that usually causes "Pop-Ups" on computers of Internet users. Unlike SpyWare, AdWare does not steal information; however, the results of AdWare accidentally installed on a PC can be also devastating. In the worst case, users completely loose control of their computers. Since AdWare installs itself on computers, pop-ups can appear even when Internet connection is off.

Ad-aware is one of the most advanced and up to date anti-AdWare software available today.

When a dialog window appears, click "Save", specify the download location, "C/Program Files" recommended, and click "Save" again to start downloading the installer for Ad-Aware.

After the download is complete, click "Run" button.

1. Press "Next" on the following screen.	2. Select "I accept..." option and click "Next".
The following two screens will appear only if a previous version of Ad-aware has	already been installed. If not, ignore a. and b.
a. Select "Yes, uninstall..." and click "Next".	b. Click "Next".
3. If needed, select the location for installing Ad-aware. Click "Next".	4. If this window appears, select a desired access level and press "Next".
5. Click "Next" to start the installation.	6. After the installation is complete, make sure that the following options are checked as shown and click "Finish"
